Dual Energy
Under the dual energy system, you use fuel (usually oil) to heat your home during certain critical periods when the demand on Hydro-Québec’s power system is very high. These “peak periods” generally occur during the coldest days of winter. Dual energy heating therefore plays a major role in the wise use of our energy resources.
